Twilight....AGAIN

Thanksgiving weekend...FUN and more FUN.

Wednesday- I got the boys up early and we headed to Riverdale to Target, and much to my surprise I ended up getting MOST of my Christmas shopping done. Sure wasn't the idea of the day, but turned out that way, and I couldn't be happier.
Thanksgiving- I got up early and joined the rest of N.O. women at the gym (it was a mad house). Then we headed up to my parents house to eat some turkey. Yet again, my dad did an AWESOME job making such a great Thanksgiving feast for all of us.
It was great to see my older bro, his wife and my cute nephew Luke. After stuffing our faces, my little sister and I thought it would be a great idea to go running, we didn't get started until after 5:00 p.m, and before we knew it it was getting really dark, and super cold. We only were able to run 2.5 miles before we started running super fast to make it home before it was pitch black...(I hate the dark), then we came back and stuffed our faces with my mom's kick @#$$ pie that she makes..lol.
Friday- my mom, sisters, and I took Brock to see Madagascar 2, it was so cute, and Brock did awesome for his first time seeing a movie.
Then today I went and saw Twilight AGAIN.
Then tomorrow we are going to TJ's parents house for another Thanksgiving dinner...WOOOHOOO.
WHAT A FUN WEEKEND.
More great stuff, we found out our AWESOME friends that live in Ohio are coming on the 17Th, sooner then we thought....I am so excited to see them, and they'll be here for almost a MONTH....YIPPEE
TWILIGHT--I think it was better the second time, and I loved the first time. I was able to catch things, that you didn't notice the first time around.
Bella's Lullaby I found is played almost the whole movie, and the song off Bella's Lullaby that's on play list, is only played at the first of the movie when Edward saves her from the van. The Lullaby on the soundtrack is what is played the whole movie. (two totally different songs).. Also when Edward and Bella are in the cafe, the song playing in the background is a song written and sung by Rob Pattinson(Edward). Who knew Edward could sing..lol.

Movie was awesome. I do wish they would have told each other they loved each other, but maybe that's coming in the second movie.

AWESOME- must buy-

I went and bought the soundtrack to "TWILIGHT"it's awesome.

I am confused though - WHY?- #12 on the soundtrack is Bella's Lullaby, well the song that you hear on the soundtrack is TOTALLY different song then what you hear on my play list. If you listen to Lullaby by Edward Cullen, and then the song by YIRUMA it's the same song, but not the same song on the soundtrack....SO WHAT THE HECK.
I can't wait for Saturday morning, because I am going again to see "TWILIGHT" with a couple of my wonderful neighbors. If anyone else wants to join us let me know before I buy tickets.

honestly I was thinking the whole movie, was just
GET IT ON FOR CRYING OUT LOUD..hehehe
I know you were all thinking that

KICK -A- CONCERT

CARRIE UNDERWOOD CONCERT
WAS
AWESOME
Last night was so much fun. TJ and I started out with going to dinner at Olive Garden-(one of my favorite places). Then we headed to the concert. We met up with our great neighbors for a few minutes, then when found our seats and waited for the concert to start. Our seats turned out to be killer seats, and would definitely sit there again.

LITTLE BIG TOWN
opened for Carrie Underwood
they were AWESOME!
I was so excited to see them. It also was great that one of the band guys is super hot, and these pictures don't do him justice for what he looks like in really life.
HOTTIE HOTTIE
those pants and cowboy boots-need I say more.
A concert isn't a concert unless you have all the redneck drunks, and we sure had our share.
The guys that sat behind us- they were the trust fund frat boys in their late 20's early 30's that can't grow up and still can't do nothing but get wasted. One guy all he needed was a stripper poll and he would have been set. He kept saying how hot and turned on he was to be at her concert. TJ and I were laughing our heads off, and if he wasn't sitting behind us then I would have taken his picture to show you all what a lame loser stripper he was.
Then there was the older couple across the floor from us, we could see so clear because they stood the whole time. I sure hope they used protection because they were doing pretty much everything but actually doing it, or maybe they were..lol.
I've never seen such nasty scandalise dirty dancing people, and the poor old couple that sat next to them. (Oh my goodness poor couple)
Then when we left the concert and were in the car trying to get out of the parking lot, 2 girls came out of nowhere completely drunk, screaming, laughing they couldn't find their car. One girl sat down and announced to everyone that she need a paramedic to come help her because she had to pee, and thought she would sit down where she was in front of the whole E-Center and pee on the grass...lol. Tj and I just sat there in our car with the window rolled down listening to these stupid drunk girls.
Minus the lame frat boy stripper, the dirty sexin it up couple, and the half naked peeing drunk girls, we had a
GREAT TIME
I would recommend anytime going and seeing her in concert.
Thanks love for taking me to see Carrie Underwood for our 5 year anniversary.
I had such a blast with you, and love you so much
One down-Carrie Underwood
One more to go- Edward on Saturday...WOOHOO!

Shake

I've had people ask where I got Brock's birthday cake and candles. I got the cake at Sams Club (GO SAMS), the candle at (Zurchers) in the kids firetruck theme party.

Last Friday when TJ got home from work, he thought it would be fun to make a shake with the boys. This is what happens when you give a 17 month old his own shake

I love this look on his face
This is when TJ is pouring him his own shake
He didn't take his eyes off his cup

NUMMY, NUMMY

This is what happens when you take the shake away from a 17 month old,
after Zack climbed down off his chair, laid his head on the floor, and cried for a good 10 minutes

4 YEARS in the MAKING

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MISTER BROCK

Today is Brock's 4Th birthday, I can't believe it's been 4 years.
Brock was born Tuesday November 9,2004 at 12:15 p.m.
weight 2.6 pounds--length 13 1/2 inches
Brock was born 9 weeks early, and spent 64 days in the NICU. I spent every 64 days at the hospital sitting next to his bed. There was nothing better then when I was allowed to hold and feed him, which I didn't always get to do, due to the fact that he was so small and holding him would stimulate him to much.
This is me seeing Brock for the first time.

It was so overwhelming to see him, I knew he was sick, but didn't realize just how sick he was until I saw him for the first time.

Brock at a day old holding moms hand

This picture was taken on November 19Th the day of my baby shower. Even though Brock was born early, we still went ahead with baby shower.
After the shower I went to see Brock, and was so surprised (as you can see on my face) when the nurse asked if I wanted to hold him for the first time.

check out my pink sweat suit thing
(what was I thinking..lol..it was really comfortable)

Brock was in the hospital for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve. TJ and I loved decorating Brock's crib in the NICU. We even rang in the new year with Brock at the hospital.

Brock under the lights

Brock came home from the hospital on January 11,2005
Brock had to have the assistance of a heart monitor and oxygen for another 5 months

Trick or Treat it's time to eat...CANDY

Halloween week started out with the boys and I going to the ward carnival. Boys had such a blast participating in all the activities.

On Halloween, the day started out with taking the boys over to Lee's Market for trick or treating. I didn't think it would be all that great, but it turned out to be a good time, and was packed with moms and kids. Then after kiddies to a nap, we headed to Kaysville for dinner and trick or treating. We ate nummy soup, and green bread sticks. Then it was time for FUN. Boys had so much fun trick or treating, and running from door to door. We only trick or treated up and down the one street, and still got a ton of candy. The funniest part of the night was everytime we went to a door, Zack would yell out "treat" he couldn't say trick or treat, but he loved to say "treat"..

Zack sitting on bench outside of Grandma and Grandpa Olsen's house.

Once TJ finally got home from work, we all headed up to Liberty, to mom and dad's house. Every year my parents neighbor and good friend turns her whole house into a Halloween town. Boys were so excited to check it out.

My sister Annie, Zack, and Brock checking out Halloween village

Zack wasn't to sure about this blinking spider

I love the look on Zack's face. This is what he does now every time there is a camera around.

Brock just had to have his picture taken in front of Halloween village.

Zack was so fascinated with all the lights, and the fact the lights looked like candy.

Brock so carefully watching
This year I was such a lame mom and decided not to do official costumes. I just couldn't bring myself to pay $20 for each boys costume, for them to only wear them for 20 minutes. I found these cute shirts at old navy for $6. The boys thought their shirts were the greatest since they were glow in the dark.
