Computer SOL/ What's been going on

First: I've not posted because our computer is SOL. It died and I guess it's time to get a new one. So my sweet neighbor is letting me use her computer.

Update: I turned 26 yesterday on July 30. I can't believe I'm 26. It's strange to me, I'm a year behind. Last year on my birthday I was in ICU on my DEATH BED. This birthday was so much better then last years birthday. Last year on July 23, just 4 weeks after having Zachary I was put in the hospital for 25 days, where I almost lost my life, that is a very hard thing to think about, when you realize just how close I came to dying (to read the whole story go back to my first post about where I was sick). It makes me sick to think about how close I came to leaving my loved ones behind, especially my two sweet boys.

It was my wonderful friend of 15 years Sarah's birthday on the 27Th. I just love her to death, we have been through it ALL TOGETHER. Growing up we spent every girls camp on our birthdays. Sarah and I grew up doing everything together, it's funny because when we run into people from school they ask if were still friends, and yes after all this time we are. LoVe YoU.

We finally finished our house. We re-painted the whole downstairs, and put in all new hardwood floor- I LOVE IT. TJ did such a great job, with help from ME. I finally for the most part got the house redecorated and put back together. When i get a new computer I'll post pictures of all of it.

About the boys:
Brock is such a character, and loves his little brother. We've spent most days at the pool or playing outside with our great neighbors, where the little kids play non-stop. Brock has gotten so tall and got such a no it all attitude- which I fear he's more like his mom...lol....

Zachary is OUT OF CONTROL... seriously this kid is GO GO GO, he doesn't walk, he runs, and runs everywhere he goes, if you don't watch him 24/7 he'll just take off walking to the neighbors, or following a dog. Zachary is really talking, he can say:

kitty - which is zitty
Dog/Doggy - a moggy
Brock - Bock
Simba - bimba or bin ba
Kids - zids
Car/Truck - vroom vroom
Grandpa - pampa
Food - mmm mmm

Zack we are finding is a really softy, he gets his feelings hurt really easy, and likes to give everyone loves, and tries to kiss everyone, also do butterfly kissed. I sure love both my little guys.

As a family we've been spending time at the cabin in Island Park, redoing the house, BB-Qin with the neighbors, swimming at the pool, going to Cherry Hill, and just hanging out together as a family. So when we get our new computer I'll put pictures and update everyone on what's been going on around the Olsen home.

Memory

I got this from Heather's blog. Thought it was such a fun thing.

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses.

I love baby Luke

Last week Emily's family had a shower, it was so fun to see baby Luke again, and Emily. Bryan, Emily and baby Luke came up the day after the 4th, it was so fun to just hold a baby all day, and know that it wasn't mine and that I could just give it right back...lol... You always hear grandma's say it's so great being a grandma because you can love the baby and give it right back. Well I think it's the same for being and Aunt.

My baby walks

Zachary officially started walking. He just let go of the furniture and set off, and now he wont stop.
What is scary?
I got out of the shower the other day to find Zack sitting in my sink of the bathroom, you ask how did he get up there? Well he climbed the toilet and the toilet roll and into the sink and was sitting in it playing with the water. He was so upset when I flipped out and took him out of the sink. So now when I get ready I have to shut all the bathroom doors and let him and Brock just play in their room. If I don't then he is back in the sink.
Zachary had his one year check up. It was surprising to me that he is under weight. THE KID EATS EVERYTHING. Doctor explained he thinks it's because ever since he got sick few months back he's having a harder time being able to gain as much weight. Also, we discovered that Zack is allergic to MILK, so I had to put him back on formula.( if anyone has had the same problem, love to know what you did to help your child). At his check up the doctor saw another starting of ANOTHER ear infection, so we have to go back in a few weeks and check that, and look into getting tubes in his ears...UGH.. ALSO when we go back the doctor wants to look at maybe seeing if Zack has a smaller trachea, and that's why he always has this horrible cough.
I tell ya what.. if it's not one thing, it's another. Hey, it wouldn't be the Olsen family unless someone was sick or in the hospital...lol...

4th of July

I thought I would post pictures of last year 4Th of July and this years. It's fun to look back and see how big my boys have grown from last 4Th to this 4Th.

We went to the Kaysville parade with TJ's sister Lisa and her family. The kids had so much fun catching candy. It was really hot but at the end they always have big water trucks come through and spray everyone. After we headed over to TJ's parents house for a BBQ.

These pictures were taken last year at the Huntsville parade. Nathan and Spring use to do a booth at Huntsville days so we always got front row seats to the parade.
I can't believe how big my boys are have gotten over the last year. Baby Zack was so little then.

We love the 4Th of July and nothing better then being an American. I was watching about the hostages that were just released, one of the hostages talked about how great it was to be an American, that they were released just days before the 4Th of July, that this 4Th of July meant more then any other day. It meant so much to him to be alive an live in such a great country. As I heard this man speak all I could do was cry and agree that what a great country indeed.
